Purchasing Property in St. Christopher and Nevis

In order for non-citizens of the Federation to purchase and hold real property in St. Christopher or Nevis, they must first apply to either the Federal Government in the case of property being purchased in St. Christopher, or to the Nevis Island Administration in the case of property being purchased in Nevis, for a special licence in the form of an Alien Land Holding Licence.

The Alien Land Holding Licence attracts a government fee of 10% of the value of the property being purchased and its issuance is subject to the approval of the relevant Cabinet.
